I'm still running a sky HD box and still paying monthly for sky HD access. However I've read That Sky don't support HD anymore. If this is the case am I overpaying ?

At the worst, you mignt be paying list price rather than a discounted price, so you're not overpaying. But you might get a better discounted price with Sky Q or Stream.
