Sky Engineers and Add ons

Hello.
we had an engineer visit to the house today to fix a WiFi connection issue.
The engineer simple changed the sky Q unit and set it up. This now works. with our internet. Thank you.
The engineer then told my son (teenager and not the account holder) that sky would give us 2 months sky sports and sky cinema free complimentary with the new box.
When returning home after a day out we have had an email say we have a new contract that then adds £34 after 2 months.
We do NOT want the additional packages, we have never had sky sports and no cinema for years.
I want to cancel today please as account holder I didn't authorise it.
How do I do that please?

Thank you very much.

@PepsiPete1

You might be able to do this online here:
https://www.sky.com/mysky/tv/tv-packs

If not then you will need to contact Sky to cancel it, so you can either call or use the messaging service to do this.

Select "No, I still need help" at the bottom of the page on the above link.

Re: Sky Engineers and Add ons

Thank you.
It looks like I can remove sky cinema but as I can see this.
However I can see sky sports but can remove it.
I do feel that my son has been taken advantage of unfortunately.

ironically I have an offer for sky cinema on the app for £8 month and this was not even offered to my son (not the account holder)
I will try to call them tomorrow.

Comments welcome. 👍

As the account holder you needed to ensure a responsible adult was at home to deal with the engineer visit. You haven't said how old your teenage son is but the engineer may not have been aware they weren't talking to the account holder.
