Sky Broadband and TV - Trouble making a purchase
Hello,
I am trying to purchase the Sky Ultimate TV and gigafast bundle currently costing £51.00.
I would like to purchase this to go alongside our current provider as I am not yet ready to cancel current provider.
The checkout process doesn't have an option to select a standalone installation. Only options for switching.
Help appreciated.

That cannot be done online: you'd need to call and be very clear that this is an order for an additional broadband circuit.
The potential additional complication is that gigafast always means provisioning over FTTP
BT Halo 3+ Ultrafast FTTP (500Mbs), BT Smart Hub 2

Doing this will probably mean a lot of extra work for open reach and will probably be a lot extra cost that will probly be charged to you by open reach on top the cost of a normal broadband switch and this work cost will be on top of the Sky subscription You might want to find how much this extra work will cost before you proceed bearing mind that doing things this way is not temporary thing but will be a permanent second broadband line to you property.
