You get pick a day from 1 to 28 from your account.  (There's no 'working day' options)

In your situation then the 1st makes sense...

Go ahead and call but they won't have any other options for payment date...

When you  setup  a direct debit  you have to set the date for the direct debit  to come out  each month, I   but remember  that when the date  falls on a Saturday or a Sunday  it comes  out the Monday /Tuesday  after  and the same on bank Holidays, we are all just fellow customers on here like yourself
