You haven’t contacted Sky by posting on here. This is a customer ▶️ customer discussion forum where we try to help other customers.

Sky wouldn't stay in business long if they were fraudulent although mistakes can happen. You need to contact Sky to discuss the issue with an agent.

Re: Scammers

I have contacted Sky as I mentioned, maybe you would consider reading the entire post!!

I'm 5 days in and the money as come out of my account ,I haven't decided to post this for the sake of it .

Sky just decides to completely ignore my calls !!

I had to something about it, my bank told me they set it up as a recurring payment, after I cancelled it !!

I'm shocked to be honest!!

It's rather more likely that the automated debit of the monthly subscription was already in progress when you called to cancel: despite electronic transfers such things aren't instantaneous and may well be processed overnight.

I have a suspicion your bank may not regard Sky as a 'fraudulent organisation' despite your report.

Re: Scammers

Hi @Tbrownn,[removed]
I definitely understand your frustration, Sky make it very easy to buy and very difficult to cancel. As soon as you've signed up, they'll get you set up to start billing. It sounds like maybe you got swept up in a billing cycle and whoever you cancelled with didn't make sure you didn't get that first charge.
I hope you get this sorted through your bank. Hopefully they'll be able to reverse the charge for you. And if you end up having to call Sky again, I wish you good luck. It can be very frustrating dealing with them, try to stay calm.

Thank you for sharing your experience. These users that have replied to you can actually connect you with a Sky employee to help, it's a shame they chose not to on this occasion.
