Scam call

Received one of those scam calls today, needless to say I cut it off, but out of curiosity I logged into Sky.com to change my password and to check if two factor authentication was on.

Well, two factor authentication didn't work, didn't send a code, the link to change the password didn't work either, how are you supposed to protect yourself/your account when the functions within that account don't work.

Added to that the 'virtual assitant' just keeps going round in circles asking the same question/s, so that's about as much help as a chocolate teapot.

So I can't set up two factor authentication and I can't change my password (oh and I've tried Edge and Firefox)

@geoffae

Is it sending the code to the correct number because if you do have a new number since setting this up you would need to sign in with the recovery code you made a note of to turn this off then update the number before activating it again.

Re: Scam call

Yep it's definitely the correct number, but it's the fact that change the password link doesn't work 😯

Re: Scam call

Well I have escalated this to complaints, which I have had a reply email too, so I'll see where this gets me.
