Returning sky box

I cancelled my account 23.7.26 and this was confirmed 31.6.26. Told boxes will be sent. Advised you I was leaving country 29.7.26 they had to be there before then. Rang 6.8.26 explained no boxes arrived by 29.7.26 , equipment still in the old house and now it was too late. He marked this on my account as the reason for not returning equipment was because I'd left the country. Told me NO CHARGES would be made and marked this on my account. I don't have the equipment and I am not in the country. Please advise.

If you are new to the forum or this is your first post then welcome to the Community, which is predominantly made up of Sky customers helping other Sky customers. You aren’t talking to Sky by posting here.

The onus was on you to return the loaned equipment. You will be charged non return fees if it isn't returned. If you have a friend or relative in the UK who can access the equipment they can use any packaging as long as it’s secure and they may want to put a note inside with your account number and a list of equipment that is included. This link explains about how to receive an email with your return labels through Royal Mail.

It’s important they keep proof of posting safe and indefinitely and if they use Royal Mail’s collect from home service, keep a record of the tracking number.
