I have been moved by the police and can't return to my property. Sky wants to charge me £50 odd pounds if not returned and as a single working mum with so much to deal with at present I can't afford this charge.....

Perhaps get a family member or friend to collect whatever equipment you have on your behalf otherwise Sky will charge you.

Have you spoke to Sky about this to see if they will on this occasion wave the non return fee due to you no being able to go back to your former property ?
