Returning customer cannot access sky go or billing

I have recently took sky TV contact out, I am a returning customer after 2 years.
I used the same email address I previously had setup with sky, and assumed by taking out sky tv it would just be linked.
however, I cannot access sky go or view 'orders' or 'billing'

As you were away for more than 12 months, you'll need to create a new Sky ID, to which you'll then be able to link your new Sky account. You can't use the same email address as you used for your old Sky ID.

@Skyuser19892023

As you left Sky and then returned after being away for a year then your account will have been closed as you have discovered so you will need to set up a new Sky ID to use.

If you want to use the same email address then you need to first remove it from the old account first so log into the old account here:

https://www.sky.com/myaccount/my-details

Then delete the email address by providing another one and logout of this account, this will then free it up to use when setting up your new Sky ID:
