Return sky Broadband
Hello Sky Team,
I hope this message finds you well.
I am writing to explain a serious misunderstanding regarding a Sky Streaming Box and an alleged outstanding balance of £45.
On 27/09/2025, I received a phone call from a woman with an Indian accent who stated she was calling on behalf of Lyca Mobile. I was offered an unlimited data deal, which required accepting and activating a box that would be sent to me. Based on the information provided, I believed this box would be related to Lyca Mobile’s unlimited data service.
However, when I received the package, I was shocked to discover that it was in fact a Sky Streaming Box. I immediately attempted to contact the callers to return the box, but my calls were never answered. As a result, I stored the box away unused.
Recently, I received a letter from CCS Collect.co.uk stating that I owe £45 to Sky. I contacted CCS Collect and explained the situation in full. They advised me to contact Sky directly and provided a contact number, which unfortunately did not work.
I would like to make it very clear that:
I do not own a TV and have never activated or used the Sky Streaming Box.
I did not knowingly or intentionally enter into any agreement with Sky.
I do not wish to have Sky services now or in the future.
I am willing to return the Sky Streaming Box immediately to any address you provide. However, I do not accept liability for any charges and will not pay any amount, as this situation arose entirely due to misrepresentation.
I trust you will understand my position and resolve this matter by cancelling any associated charges and confirming arrangements for the return of the box.
- I look forward to your prompt response.
Kind regards.

Re: Return sky Broadband
@Mehran4 unfortunately you're not talking to Sky here. We're a Community of Sky customers. Sky won't know who you are from your post. Best to give them a call.

Re: Return sky Broadband
@Mehran4
These are the current methods for contacting Sky, and some will be more appropriate than others for your particular situation …
🟢 📞 Customer Services by dialling 150 (free) from either a Sky mobile or your Sky Talk landline if you have Sky Broadband. The forum doesn’t allow the display of other numbers but official numbers to Sky from the UK are 03 numbers which are usually inclusive from non Sky phones.
All calls will start automated (aka ‘the bot’) which may offer you the online help route or try to send you here to the forum. Stay on the line as long as possible and sometimes saying nothing when asked the reason for the call helps being put in the queue for an agent.
🟢online help via this link
https://www.sky.com/help
If necessary a number may be visible at the end of the correct help flow.
🟢Sky Assistant 💬 should also be available via
https://www.sky.com/help
for most service issues and gives you 24/7 help and a quick response. It should provide you with multiple choice options based on your problem and will provide troubleshooting steps to fix any service issues.
🟢Social Media You can also get in touch via the messaging services on Facebook or Instagram, (links at the bottom of the forum page).
🟡Note ~ ROI customers If you’re in the ROI make sure the flag in the bottom right of any link is showing the correct flag and change if required. The Sky Ireland phone lines have different operating hours to the UK and are closed at a weekend.
NOTE: I only provide help on the forum boards so Direct Messaging is switched off
