I phoned about the poor communication and lack of dialogue in explaining how much my contract would increase when renewing. To my horror I discovered from a manager that I am tied in for 2 years. When checking my emails the only time that I was aware of the price increase was from the confirmation contract email. The customer service assistant was quite helpful, but the manager I spoke to did not believe my version of events despite me checking my emails from sky while I was talking to him. I am not sure where I go from here as I feel sky have been quite deceitful toward my contract renewal.

Find out moreAll new contracts do come with a 24 month contract now as it as been the case for a while now, perhaps about a year so if you were not informed of this so if you renewed on the phone then feel free to register a complaint giving the date and time you called to renew so someone can listen to what was said to you:
