Refund

I have had credit on my account of £135 for about 8 months, I received an email from Sky on 9th March to tell me this would be refunded within 3-5 days, I never received it within this timeframe, I reached out to sky on 18th March, and was told I would again receive it from 3-5 days however I still haven't. Can anyone shed some light on how long it will be until I receive this please?

Is this credit due because you have cancelled a Sky subscription?

Yes. I cancelled Streaming Tv, however I am still a customer with them for broadband.

Refunds after cancelling should only take about 6 weeks from your last day of connection. 

We can potentially help get it refunded within 3-5 working days via the Community Messaging Team on here if you wish. Let us know on this thread if you want to do that.

Note: [The same applies if you’ve moved address since cancelling and you’ve had an email from Sky about posting a cheque to you. They can either reinstate your payment method to refund you in 3-5 working days or arrange a back office team to send out a cheque to your new address which will take time].

Before we can escalate it to Sky please confirm in your reply that…it’s currently showing as a credit on your Sky account, if the payment method is still active, and whether you’ve moved address since leaving.

If you could help me that would be great, thank you. I haven't moved address, credit was still showing on February invoice but has since said that "Your refund was processed on the 9th March, you will receive this within 3-5 days and will show on your next bill". Payment method is also, still active.

That is 3-5 WORKING days ~ so as it's not showing as a credit on your Sky account any longer the Messaging Team may not be able to help you but I've escalated it to them and they can perhaps advise or reassure you. 

Look out for a post on this thread from one of the team inviting you to a private chat and then you should see a blue/red speech bubble at the bottom of your forum page. You’ll have 48 hours to click on it and start the private chat or it will close automatically. If you fail to respond to a chat reply within 48 hours the chat will again close down automatically even if your issue hasn’t been resolved. Replies from Sky aren’t instant so you’ll need to check the chat thread periodically.
