Refund

I cancelled 2 month ago sky still took £50 i called they said itll be back in my account, but still nothing. I cant even see the old old bill. They sholudnt of even taken it.

Billing continues through a notice period. Bills for Sky+, Sky Q and Broadband /Talk are generated 14 days prior to a payment date. For Mobile, Glass and Stream it's 3 days before the payment date. It's therefore quite normal that another bill payment will be required. Of course any overpayment will be reimbursed to you. This can take up to 6 weeks from your last day of connection.

 

Is it showing as a credit on your Sky account?

Not in credit. Cancelled dec paid jan n feb. 50 for weakest internet. I wont be recommending anyone anyway. Sky said 7 days not 6 weeks. Wish i cancelled them on my bank app now.

Did Sky send you an email after you cancelled acknowledging the cancellation? If you were then billed in January and February it sounds like you didn't cancel properly.

Yes i had email confirming cancellation. I got disconnected yet still billed. They said theyll put it back in my bank rather than credit so i dont have to call to request it. Its just incompetance. Ill just call again in a few days and go in a few circles again.

It took me to my account but nothing previous, its strange as Ive been with them for years.

No previous bills, it would be great to see payments and the last one refunded or at least in credit. Its like its reset its self since i cancelled.

To get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to a few hours to be contacted via this.


This link explains how this works so you will need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page when it appears by typing it it to start the chat:

When the chat bubble does appear you will need to respond to it as soon as you can or it will be closed if there is no response within 48 hours. To start the conversation just type in it.
This isn't a live chat so replies may not be instant.

Do you not see a chat bubble at the bottom of this page because you need to use this to communicate to Sky about this.
