Refund
I have closed my sky account last month and am showing as £49 in credit, i expected this to be automatically refunded to me but this hasn't happened. I would like the credit refunded. How do I make this happen?

Refunds normally take about six weeks from the last day of connection but posts on here suggest it's taking longer.
We could normally escalate this to Sky on here via their Messaging Team but unfortunately the process is currently switched off and we don't know when it'll return.
At present you will need to contact Sky and speak to an agent by other means; through social media, Sky Assistant or by calling in. Providing your payment method is still active they should be able to refund it in 3-5 WORKING days.
NOTE: I only provide help on the forum boards so Direct Messaging is switched off

Thank you that's really helpful. Do I need to request the refund or will it automatically be processed? Also I suspect my payment method will have closed as I know longer have any sky services, will this mean a cheque?

To speed up the return you will have to call them about this, Unless you removed it your payment method might still be in place as leaving Sky doesn't see this automatically removed unless you actually did this and even if you did you can still restore it if you want the refund issued by it otherwise a cheque will be sent and this is a much slower process.
