Refund following cancellation

Hi, how long does it take for a refund following cancellation of a broadband package? I cancelled on 15th May and returned the equipment which was received on 31st May. However, a payment was taken from my account after I had cancelled. I spoke to someone at Sky who said that I should get the refund for the amount taken at the end of June but I've received nothing yet. Can anyone help? Thanks

Refunds can take around 6 weeks.  Is there a credit showing on your account?  have you left the payment method in place?

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Thanks for your reply. I've just checked and Sky received my equipment on 21 May. They took a payment from me at the end of May, and I phoned them about it, and was told that it should be refunded to me at the end of June. There's no credit showing on my account at the moment, it still shows the payment having been taken. As far as I'm aware, the payment method is in place too.

Does anything show on what will have been your next bill ?

Until a credit shows no refund can be issued so keep an eye on the account and when you see it post back here for help with the refund.
