Record tv

I have a BT tv box and record many programmes. I have been told that if I switch to Sky there is no TV box. Does that mean that you cannot record any tv programmes on Sky?

@Tony288  To sunscribe with Sky you need either a Sky Q satellite receiver or Sky Stream puck to watch any Sky content, you can't do so without one

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Both Sky services have a 'box' that attaches to your TV via HDMI lead.

The Q box has an internal hard drive for recording.  The Stream box does not - but with streaming there is no need to record as the programme is 'recorded' at Sky's end and you access when you wish.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
