Received an email from Sky but I’m unsure of the authenticity

Is the Direct Debit or other auto payement option set up correctly?
If you visits MySky are the bills being paid? 

If yes to both then the email may not be genuine.

Yup all set up correctly and in place. 

I think it's very much a scam email but the address is very close to a real

sky email. Some people may fall for the scam.

I still believe the email to be genuine. It will have been generated automatically though conceivably incorrectly. Hopefully there won't be any further automated action.

Called sky and they confirmed it wasn't sent by them  Everything g set up and in place as it should be. 

the advisor I spoke to wasn't too sure about the email address which isn't great but at least I know it wasn't sky generated email.
