Puk auto activation

Ordered sky tv and broadband early August, with the agreement that tv and broadband would be activated on the 18th September.  Had notification through mysky app that my tv will automatically activate on the 31st!!! Have called sky today and spoke to a very unhelpful person who told me dont worry just dont use it and you won't get charged. Obviously this is incorrect as I will have had the pups for 21days so they will automatically activate if not changed by sky.  I asked to speak with someone else and that person told me not to worry as the date has been changed to the 18th of September. I asked if I could receive confirmation of this and was told yes no problem.   3hrs later no confirmation. So I called sky again and was told that it may take awhile for a manager to send an email. I asked if my activation date could be confirmed as being changed to the 18th but was told no all they could do was leave a note on the system that I had called.  Wow I have just joined sky as a new customer and am totally unimpressed with the customer service I have received. I would expect a large company like sky to try and keep customers not waste there time before there account is even live

Yup, stream is automatically activated after 21 days - and you will be charged accordingly.

You may not hear anything.  You have two choices - wait until your required activation date and see if they will apply a retrospective credit or cancel within your cooling off period.  (And reorder nearer the time)

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
