Problem with paramount plus after bank card change

I had to cancel a payment card and it caused my premium paramount plus subscription to cease. After putting on my new card details, it has been stuck on renewal in progress for 3 months.

 

I have spoken with the helpline several times but cannot seem to get it sorted. 

when I try to change my subscription online (for example to downgrade to basic or standard ) it just doesn't work and I get a message saying to start again.

 

Does anyone have any ideas how to resolve this?
