Privacy questions

Hi I have been on the telephone with a sky representative today for an hour and half.

She asked me my sky password which I gave and was correct.  But she also asked me what my mother did as a job and what my father did as a job.  Are these security questions  ?

Hi, I rang sky to get help because I could not access my app.

And that is when they asked you these questions, if so it is probably because you have them setup on your account as your security questions as there reasoning being that only you as the account holder would know the answer.
