@Lisa1722

Your post appears unfinished. The annual price increases apply from the April bills and Sky will be sending out emails and letters during the next month or so outlining the increase to a subscription.

Re: Price increase

Apologies I hit submit by mistake, my broadband is going up to £46 per month, this is the only service I have with them and seems a little to expensive now for just broadband , just wondering if there is any way I could get a cheaper deal without having to phone sky, I get nervous on the phone and would much rather contact them online via online chat of some sort or is this not possible, thanks in advance

Unless you’ve changed your subscription, prices go up for either the annual price increase (April in the UK as mentioned above) or your discounts are ending. Sky will have told you the date any discount was ending when you took it out so if it has ended you’ll be paying the full undiscounted price. Perhaps compare a previous bill to your latest bill and see where the amounts differ
www.sky.com/bill.

If your discounts have ended or are ending soon the best new discounts are normally acquired by calling Sky and negotiating or potentially amending your package which will now require a 24 month minimum term contract. Remember Sky are not obliged to offer you another discount, and recent posts on here indicate that significant discounts are now harder to come by. If you’re offered something acceptable be prepared to agree to it there and then because if you decide to think about it the offer may no longer be available when you call back.

Re: Price increase

Thank you for your reply, my discounts ended years ago, iv been with sky 10 years and always had the price increase each year and stayed with sky to avoid the hassle of switching to another provider, I will have a think about it as iv had no problems the past 10 years, was just wondering if they may have a cheaper deal for existing customers that I could change online instead of calling, thanks again
