Phone return/ system update

Hello. Last month i ordered a phone from sky on contract but i changed my mind and returned it back. Box still unopened. I was wondering how long does it take till the system will be updated and the phone contract be cancelled as I have cancelled my direct debit for the phone as I didn't want to be paying for what I don't use. Also when this change be updated on credit file as that has been added as a new open credit on my file. Thanks

Returns take 3-4 weeks to process.

 

I wouldn't have cancelled the DD as a failed collection during this period may impact your credit file.

 

You'll have to call Sky to see what the latest is.

Did you speak to Sky before returning the device ?

 

As above cancelling the direct debit isn't a good idea as any payment you made will need to now been sent out via a cheque which can takes weeks, if not months to be sent out to you.
