Payments not automatically being taken

I have tried for at least 5 months to get sky to accept payments automatically on my card every month and each month I get a message saying  payment not received. EVERY month I have to go in and pay this manually. The automatic help not is absolutely useless as it sends me round and round.I can't get ANYONE  at sky to talk to me .  HELP ANYONE ?????

I can't get through to an operative.I hold for ages without getting through then it passes me onto the automated system to call me or text then I eventually lose patience and hang up ITS A FIASCO

All calls will start automated which may offer you the online help route or try to send you here to the forum. Stay on the line as long as possible and saying nothing when asked the reason for the call sometimes helps being put in the queue for an agent.

Instead of using a card can you not pay by a direct debit from a bank account instead ?

I tried that initially and either my bank or sky didn't complete so I paid by card. I've tried to set up the direct debit route a few times but it won't allow it. I'm really really getting annoyed with it all
