Payment taken twice

I set up card payments for the corrections and paid early thinking it would be recognised and not taken again but it had just taken a second payment and now leaving me short for other bills.

I would like a refund of the overpayment how can I arrange this? It shows already that the account is in credit and 2 payments made this month.

@Sam021979

As you have found there is no need to make such manual payments as doing this to close to your billing date will not stop Sky from automatically taking the payment from the payment method have you have set up.

To get you some help with a refund of the credit I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you sometime tomorrow morning regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at this bottom of this page.

This link explains how this works so you will need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page when it appears:
https://community.sky.com/t5/Did-you-know/Escalating-a-post-to-a-Sky-expert/ba-p/3711147

When the chat bubble does appear you will have 48 hours to respond or it will be automatically closed. To start the conversation just type in it.

This isn't a live chat so replies may not be instant.
