Payment failed

I was a victim of fraud so had to close my bank account down, have set a new one up but have no details for online banking or a card yet I should receive it within next 5 days ( opened a new account yesterday) so my payment failed, and my payment was due to be taken on 22nd but obviously failed due to my card being frauded. I am wondering if I will get cut off with in the next 5 days?

If your bill is usually paid by a direct debit and the second attempt by Sky also fails and they will try again 10 days later then yiu might mind your services restricted and should this happen you would need to both manually pay the bill and setup the payment details on your Sky account before you services will be restored.

Hi @Natashajla   If your bank is like mine, the card details should be available immediately using the banking App to allow you to update your payment method and use for online purchases.

Under your circumstances why not contact Sky  before the ten days up when Sky will talk to you  explain why has happened and see if there is any thing that can be done in your present circumstances. Can you  your bank give you your new bank account number along with the banks sort code. If so that would be that would be enough information for Sky to set a new direct  debit. Yes it could not be taken within the 10 days but they may be able to work something out.
