Payment confusion

Hi all, 

wanted to come to the community before trying the struggles of getting hold of customer service. 
So on my bills and payments section in the app it states that I have paid my £84 bill for this month and that they recieved a payment yesterday. But according to my bank account no such payment has been taken. 

I want to make sure the bill is paid but don't want to do a manual payment and then have them take the direct debit when I can't afford to pay the same bill twice

 

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Do not make a manual payment. A direct debit isn't processed at a weekend so the payment will go through today. 

I would recommend not making manual payments unless requested to by Sky.

Okay, what do I do if it doesn't come out today? Am I best to wait a while longer or ring them?

Do not make a manual payment. If it hasn't come out by Wednesday by all means give Sky a call but this scenario will occur every month that your billing date falls on a weekend or a bank holiday.

If your Sky account t shows as "payment received" then it is because the payment is in the process of being g taken today so your bank account should update either later today or overnight to show it has been taken.
