Paying for Sports on now tv & sky stream.

I recently subscribed to a sky sports trial on now TV. Cancelled this after the trial and decided to get sky stream & sports package for 24 months on sky. I now seem to be paying for now tv sky sport for 6 months. And sky sports through sky for 24 months. I cancelled the now tv sports trial after about 2 days. I can't get through to anybody on now tv or sky.

Re: Paying for Sports on now tv & sky stream.

The only way forwards was to cancel my sky sports subscription with sky, and retain the one with now TV for the 6 months term. I have put in a complaint form with NOWtv to see if I can end this early to rejoin sports on sky.

If you subscribe on. Now tv  to the Sky sports 6 month deal at reduced rate. Though it say you cancel any time the cancellation will not take affect till the end of the 6 month period. This actually stipulated on the the screen when you sign up for your membership as the screen shot below shows. Therfore unfortunately in these circumstances nothing can be done  and will continue to have Sky sports on now tv for that period. The only other option is if you are still in your cooling off period with Sky stream see if you cancel Sky sports on there until your now tv period ends.IMG_0367.jpeg

  • I am definatly in the cooling off period. I'm trying to go through the process of using this as we speak but I have to wait for a email from complaints.
I spoken to a guy on chat within 2 days of membership to cancel due to the lack of ultra HD 4k support on Panasonic which is a fire OS running system.
I thought that was the end of it. Also me pressing the cancel membership button.
The contract I initially signed up for was 7 day trial which leads to 6 months contract.

I got the ultra HD add on. I got told by now tv chat customer service that it's limited to some Sony brava tv ranges. Others will be added in time.
