Paramount subscriptions

I received the offer  on Sky VIP rewards to receive Paramount free for six months. I followed all instructions but still charged 599 and a subscription to Paramount for six months (which I've cancelled) however I can't get the 599 back from PayPal. my query is that it was never explained in full or not apparent that I could only apply once and as I'd applied before then I would have to pay. How do I get a refund from Sky?

If it the paramount +  VIP reward  where you get code like the one I had  you have sign up with Paramount + on there web site and sign up there with code you got from Sky . Apart from Sky giving the code the promotion is nothing to do with Sky but your subscription  is with Paramount  direct who take your payment details and if you continue after your promotion period thake your payment.
If signed up exsisting customer as the offer is only available for new customers and if try using the code as an exsisting customer it will come up "not valid" You say that is point was not not fully apparent or explained fair enough it might not be explained by Sky but on the paramount web site it dose tell you the offer is only open to new subscribers and as I said putting in the code will come up not valid.

You say  have been charged £5.99 however you had signed as a new customer on the paramount + web site you should not have been charged any thing as all new customers are given a 7day free trial  on to top of you free promotion period, there you should have been charged anything when you signed up and if  the code did not work, the first payment would be taken 7 days later. If you tried as an exsisting customer as you say you have had the offer before not only will putting in the code cone as "not valid " but you will be charged straight away as as far as paramout are concerned you were just renewing your membership.

You asking how you get a refund from Sky,  but as your subscription is direct with paramount plus via web site it should paramount that took your payment and it them that you should be asking for a refund. However under the circumstance I think likely hood of you getting a refund is very unlikely as for as Paramount + is concerned you have only renewed your subscription. With this in mind though you have cancelled you subscription you should have viewing untill your next payment, so I think the best I think you can do is put down to experience as it only small amount involved and just  enjoy paramount + for the next month.

Typically in the T&Cs link in the offer in Sky VIP it will say whether or not the free trial is available to NEW customers only or new and returning customers.
