That's right I am afraid you should have got notice when you signed for that promotion ( at the end of the signing up process) that cancling during the promotion period will cancel the subscription strightaway and will lose remainder of free promotion period. Unlike if you were paying the subscription in the normal way and canceling did not take effect till the next billing date. I remember seeing that notice when signed up my 9 month free promotion hence I will not cancel my subscription until near the end of the 9 months if I don't want to carry on. I think the terms and conditions apply to a normal subscription not that premonition.

It a. Sky'svip offer but that where Sky's envolment ends and the actual promotion and subscription is with Paramount + direct. You had to sign up on the paramount + web site and subscription was paramount + direct . Apart from Sky giving you the offer the actual subscription is nothing to do with Sky. And therefore is a promotion realy for paramount + to get new subscribers as it not available to exsisting paramount + subscribers whether direct or though Sky. So unfortunately your subscription is bound by Paramount + terms and conditions. I said when I signed up for my offer I distinctly remember at the end of the signing up process seeing notice that cancelling during the promotion period cancelled straight away and you lost the rest of the free period. In my option Sky are wrong to put that in ther up terms of the offer aas they have no control over it as it's direct with paramount +.
