Re: Options
If your discounted minimum term has ended or its ending soon the best new discounts are still normally acquired by contacting Sky and negotiating or potentially amending your package which will require a new 24 month minimum term contract.
’Significant’ discounts seem harder to come by these days so if you’re offered something acceptable be prepared to agree to it there and then because if you decide to think about it the offer is unlikely to be available when you call back. Also remember you’re not a new Sky customer so don’t expect anything close to a new customer deal.
See this link…
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/change-your-package-2-t2#downgrade
If you decide it’s no longer value for money and you’re thinking of changing providers remember that at the end of their minimum term you'll be in the same position with that company at which point you'll be able to return to Sky and benefit from the new customer discounts available at that particular time.

Depends on what other channels you watch. You could change to now tv , Sky movies is slightly cheoer at £10 a month , Sky sports is £34 roughly the same as Sky but you can get a small discount if you have 6month deal. The entertainment package is only £7 and contains most of the Sky branded channels plus gold and alibi but little else To get HD you have to subscribe to a boost for £6 pounds but also allows you to watch on 2 devices at once and give you ads free on demand content. You will have to lay out a fire stick if you have not got a smart tv with the now tv app on.

As mentioned , it definitely will be worth calling Sky to recontract a new package . As an example i was able to get a package of Sky Q + Sky sports + Sky Full fibre 500mb/s for around £80 a couple of years ago so compared to yours, you should be able to negotiate a much better deal.
Bear in mind, as mentioned, it does seem more difficult to get really good deals these days, hence why i recently swapped my broadband.
Sky Q 1TB UHD
LG TV
Sky Mobile
Sky Max Full Fibre 500 broadband

50Mbs should be enough bandwidth for one Stream puck, but distinctly marginal for two in use simultaneously.
BT Halo 3+ Ultrafast FTTP (500Mbs), BT Smart Hub 2

If you have FTTP then Sky 150Mbps BB is available via the Sky website for the £25. Call or chat with Sky and (presuming you're out of minimum term) use it to lower your TV cost.
