Hi.
Can anyone clarify when is the earliest you can give your 31 days notice to downgrade a package after upgrading. I am thinking of upgrading to full Sky Sports, but just want to keep it for 1 month. When I did this years ago I was able to upgrade and then the same advisor processed the downgrade straight after, so the package then disappeared in 31 days time, plus saved the faff of phoning back. Today the advisor said he couldn't do that and was very vague about when I could actually phone up for them to process the downgrade. Obviously the longer I keep it before giving the notice the more I will be charged, and if I give the notice in a fortnight I will have then had it for 6 weeks. So when is the earliest I can give the required notice please?
Many Thanks

There's no reason (that I'm aware of) why you can't add a (non-contracted) package and give notice at the same time.

That's what I thought. Tried again and second advisor even worse than the first, who mumbled something about ringing up again next week. This one told me I'd have to phone back in a month to give notice! So then I'd have to keep it for 2 months in total. Both completely failed to understand my point. The call centre has really gown downhill, they have no clue whatsoever.
