Hi,
I received an email saying I was due a refund/compensation of £30.49 after leaving Sky on the 17th July but I am still waiting for this to show in my bank account.
What can I do about this as I'm still entitled to that money.

I no longer have an account with Sky as I have left. I was told by someone from Sky it would go into my bank account.

Refunds can take up to 6 weeks from your last day of connection providing the payment method is still active on your Sky account. (This will take longer if the payment method has been cancelled as Sky will have to manually raise a cheque and post it to you).
If you wish we can help get it refunded within 3-5 working days via the Messaging Team on here. Let us know on this thread if that’s what you want to do but we need confirmation it’s currently showing as a credit on your Sky account.

You do, it will be closed but you do have an account, so does a credit show there?

Hi,
it's been longer than 6 weeks and still no refund. If you could help that would be great.
thanks

There is no credit anywhere. Like I said the person from Sky told me it would go into my bank, not into my credit as I no longer have any of their products or am not in a contract with them.

But you should still be able to log into your account even if you no longer have any products -have you tried?

Yes I've tried already. There is nothing showing.

The payment method is still active on my Sky account and I've received no refund and there is no credit on my account.
if you could help me get the refund via the messaging team I would be grateful.
how long does that take?
thanks

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreI think you'll need to persevere on the phone. We normally only escalate to the Messaging Team when the customer confirms the credit is showing on their Sky account, which it should be in your case.

I can't find anything that says it's on my account? When I log in it just says sign up to broadband or tv

Hi,
Ive managed to find it and I actually have £78.30 as credit in my account.
can you now help me get this back into my bank account via the messaging team?

Posted by a Sky employeeThanks for escalating this. We’ve sent an invite to @KHam123 to chat.

It can take up to a few hours to be contacted via this.
This link explains how this works so you will need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page when it appears by typing it it to start the chat:
