Netflix charges

Has anyone else problem with charges for Netflix? I've been put on the premium package (in 2024 sometime) I genuinely don't remember being given the option of different level of packages and was charged £11 per month until April 2025 when it went up to £13.49.
I was looking through my bill today when I found out that there were different levels and that I was on premium and it should be £11 per month. I googled it to check and all I got back was that it was £11 per month through sky and had been since Dec-23. I called them to check this and was told it's just my app is wrong and that it is £13.49 per month. There was no budging from this line or conversation so I said I'd put a complaint in about it. I've got a copy of my account, information of the internet and then put a complaint in to ask the question why I was paying higher. I've been back into my account and the price has now been changed to the higher value - this is really sneaky. Anyone had this happen?

Re: Netflix charges

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more

£13.49 is the correct list price.

However, this can often be discounted - I currently have £4 off that so pay £9.49.  Sounds like you had a different discount that expired.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

when you present minimum term started a Netflix boost to premium was add as part of that package  if you look at your bills both past and present it will give the full list price £13.49 if you were paying £11 till recently you was probably on minimum term discount which has now ended. You can see the end date of this discount in  previous bills that you were paying £11. If you are are on now on monthly rolling contract you can cancel this boat giving  31day notice  this will revert to basic Netflix with ads. If you are Sky Q. Customer youcan can this as the ultimate tv package as long as this also on minimum term. If you are Sky steam or glass this Netflix with ads is pare of you entertainment package and can not be removed

I am sorry to say what google say is wrong  against what it says for Sky Netflix price as going on 2023 price however   if you google " Netflix price increase" you will see they were increased in early 2025  and  the Netflix premium subscription direct to Netflix is £18.99 a month. If you have Sky Q, Sky charge  £4,50 (in April £5.50) for the basic Netflix with ads under the title utlmate tv package. You can then add various Netflix boosts  to your subscription at monthly amount for premium without any discount is £13.49 and has been this price since April 2025. I know this because I have very same package,  though with me it was discounted for a minimum term to £9. But  y bill shows the list price £13.49 with discount price showing as £9. If you have Sky stream yes the Netflix basic with ads is included in your entertainment package but if you have the premium boost it list price as £13.49
