My contract has ended. I want to renew my contract but i would like to make some minor changes.

My present contract has ended. I would like to renew it but i would like to make some minor changes like removing Sky Kids, as we are elderly ant the kids and grand kids are all grown up now and we never watch it anymore. I have been looking for a telephone number to try and get some help but i cant find one. Can anyone help?

If your discounted minimum term has ended or its ending soon the best new discounts are still normally acquired by calling Sky and negotiating or potentially amending your package which will require a new 24 month minimum term contract.

It’s apparent that significant discounts are harder to come by these days so if you’re offered something acceptable be prepared to agree to it there and then because if you decide to think about it the offer is unlikely to be available when you call back. Also remember you’re not a new customer so don’t expect anything close to a new customer deal.

If you decide to move providers remember that in 18 months time you'll be in the same position with that company at which point you'll be able to return to Sky and benefit from the new customer discounts available at that time.

All calls will start automated which may offer you the online help route or try to send you here to the forum. Stay on the line as long as possible and saying nothing when asked the reason for the call sometimes helps being put in the queue for an agent.

Note: if your services are restricted due to a missed payment phone contact is unlikely to work.
