My bill has doubled

I recently moved house (and only 10 minutes down the road). Before I first got Sky I rang up and ask if we could move house and if anything would change. They reassured me that there would be no change. It would be easy to switch. Then I look at my bill and it's gone from £20 to £46!! I was never warned about the charge of the change of payment and for it to over double is crazy! Can you help change my bill back to its original agreed cost.

You haven’t actually contacted Sky Customer Services by posting on here. This is primarily a customer ▶️ customer discussion forum where we try to assist other customers.

Does the bill cover longer than the usual month duration?

I don't understand why because you move house and just a short distance why cost of bill should increase. when we moved from London to Essex  though that was  7 years ago the only thing that changed apart from a different address was the ITV region every thing including what we paid stayed the same. Though we only had tv though Sky might have been different if we had broadband as well.. Have you why the increase!

For which Sky service?

£20 would be unusually low for broadband.

Re: My bill has doubled

It's 20 for 1 service plus 15 for another, so it was 35pm but now the 20 has gone to 46 + 15 so it's over 60!!

@Poppydixon

Its possible that in moving you have lost your previous discounts.

My guess would be that was broadband on a special offer, plus Essential TV.

Presumably because the broadband has changed.
