Multiple errors on all my subscriptions

I spoke to a Sky representative at the beginning of October - in a nutshell, I was potentially losing my job, and need to see if I could reduce my monthly bill. I was on the phone for quite some time and the result was to cancel Cinema, remove ultra HD, downgrade Netflis to with ads and move to fibre broadband - a date was provided for the engineer visit to the outside of my home. That was two months ago, still no fibre broadband and Cinmea and Ultra HD are still in the product list and being charged for - and they renewed the contracts on these for another two years and I've been told I'll have to pay £60 because I'm in contract.

I've call multiple times, they've promised call backs from the original representative - no call back (well unless you believe that three text messages this morning to say they'd called and to call them back on two different numbers). Got lost in the automated messages, got cut off multiple times because I'd made the wrong choice and when I finally got through I was promised a call back - and of course ...

I am so frustrated, not least because of the amount of calls and time I've had to put in to try and sort all of this out. After 21 years of being with Sky, I have to consider leaving them, this isn't a service - they clearly don't care about their customers. I don't know how to get them to do as we had agreed. Any advice?

It sounds like you've agreed a new deal (thus the admin charges you mention) - leaving may be difficult without paying (signficant) early termination charges (if you can leave at all - the contract says you can't).

 

Your only route is to obtain audio recordings and go down the official complaint route.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
