Moving from Virgin to Sky

My virgin account expires at the end of April. Sky can't get to me to set up/install broadband, etc, until end April. What happens in the interim? I was told not to worry Sky would liase with Virgin - but I want to know what will happen.

one presumes Virgin will charge you out of contract prices for any period past the end of their minimum term.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
