Mis sold - refused dead lock - falsified statements - lost credit
Arranged a home move to cancel tv package, keep the sky glass tv and bring broadband.
Priced for broadband £9.82pm (amazing). Given 4 installation and activation dates. None of which happened.
still being charged for the tv package that was cancelled and broadband that wasn't transferred. They then also OFFERED my ex partner at my old address when he rang to set his own account up, to delay my home move so he kept services until his was installed!!!
Eventually installed after a month and 4 failed appointments and charged an installation fee. How rude! Complaints team tried to charge me £46pm and had to argue with her to listen to the call and then she agreed i was sold at (not £9.82 which I know it was) but £13pm. Pennies still so I agreed. Then she decided that price isn't available and convinced me into signing up to £20 because it would work out £420 cheaper over my 2 year contract. after over a month on the phone with them I agreed out or sheer exhaustion. Only to then realise I wasn't in a 2 year contract to begin with!
Her manager then took over a secondary call (somehow ended up back at the same office) and informed me I was signed into 3 different contracts at 3 different prices without being told or agreeing. The price upped to £20 per month and she (the original complaint handler) made some lies up because she couldn't get it down to £13 a month and blagged my head.
but apparently that's okay because she offered me a £30 Tesco voucher and would let me out of the contract whenever I wanted. Erm no! Then offered me a deadlock letter which I greatfully accepted. Only to be sent something via email that the ombudsman wouldn't accept and sent me to the information commissioner who told me to get evidence that sky wouldn't Sen me anything else other than that email. So called again and was hung up by three people.
all during this time I had credit building additional charges. Refund after refund. Over 70 hours on the phone with them.
then came sky live refund and the automatic compensation which th auto compen they refused to refund at first as they classed it as credit. Then told me they had refunded but then it went missing from my bills. Then it was found and refunded. Then skyline came refund which was on my bill and attempted to be refunded but the department apparently refused to do it because it wasn't there.
in the mean time the last 3 months worth of bills which should have been less than £30 in total combined some how have changed 7-8 times each a month. Over £390 refunded by their own calculation on them but only £378 actually adjusted on them and only £210 reaching me. The rest is "lost" and they don't know how.
I cancelled my services 19th December. Was advised all credit would have to be refunded by 24th December and I'd get the correct dead lock letter and that's it done. Yay!
but no!
yesterday I was charged for my services again.. my statements have changed again.. my credit has vanished and can't be found again...
I done a sars request in October which they couldn't find and again in December which has apparently not been logged and then raised again today. They have 28 days to complete a sars request and it's been almost 3 months!
I can't take it to any ombudsman etc as I can't get the deadlock letter and haven't received the final one promised again. They are still charging me for the sky live camera after it's been cancelled and credit my account with the refund that vanished. I've recorded all of the calls myself too and I also have no contract from them for any of the contracts they signed me into without my knowledge or for my actual home move. And the original ones don't even have my name spelled correctly!!
any advice? Lol
can't go to an independent company without the deadlock letter.
can't get the dead lock letter.
still being charged and have no services after cancelling to get away from them
wont give me my credit.
cant find my credit.
my bill make no sense and keep changing and dont add up.
stuck with a sky glass tv that i have no use with now I've had to leave them
Allowed someone to change things on my account by offering them to
There's a lot more to add but all of the above is too much as it is.
I've made my last ditch attempt today to have it sorted now I've left them and it's still ongoing with more issues. I just don't know what to do if it's not sorted today. It's been since September.
