Lost my recovery code

I have lost my recovery code for the 2 step verification for my sky ID. I called support and all they are doing is updating my mobile number on my account but not on the 2 step verification. As I don't have this number anymore, I need to raise the 21-day 2FA removal. Please can a member of Sky escalate this as I have no other way to contact?

@RBT1989 if they're manually updating the number here on your behalf, that should resolve it: https://id.sky.com/mfa/manage

2FA is now mandatory so they're unlikely to remove it from your account.

If they are updating your mobile number to the correct one then once this has been done the verification texts should go to it allowing you to access your account again.

Managed to call and get someone that understood the system. They completed the 21 day 2TA cancel form. So just need to wait 21 days then can set up again with new number.
