My mum is moving into supported living she is looking to have sky and broadband, really need to talk to someone, not do all this online

You've posted on the Sky+ board. Sky+ is a legacy package no longer available and not supported by Sky.

Before you call Sky it might be prudent to confirm with the company managing the new accommodation if a dish is allowed on the outer wall or if there is a communal dish if she wants to have a satellite service via a Sky Q box.
