Leaving country

Hi! I am moving abroad, Sky Broadband is on my name, my roommates would keep the same one. Is it possible to change the name of the account holder? That way we/they would skip all the hassle of provider change. Thanks!

No.  You have to cancel (if you're not subject to a minimum term) and your room mate take out their own contract.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

Remember to allow yourself time to cancel (there is a 14 day notice period) and to return the loaned Sky hub. The packaging for that will be sent out to the account address near the end of the notice period. Keep the proof of posting very safe and indefinitely in case there's a problem. Returns are dealt with by Unipart at their gigantic warehouse so takes a number of weeks to be processed.
