Hey guys, can anyone help me out here, so I cancelled my sky back in November, even paid an early leaving fee.
anyway come December sky took money from my account.
so phones sky and assured me I would get £54 back in January around my normal billing time, so awaited and nothing.
so phoned them again maybe 1st of feb to see what was going on, I got told the refund would be with me in 3-5 days,
5/6 says later on the 6th feb I received this text message
"Hi This is from sky
This notification is regarding the refund we are still working of it its taking bit longer than expected just give us another 3-5 days it will be sorted thank u NoReply"
so im like ok ill wait another 5 days, anyway day 7 not from that text, still no refund or update.
any help would be awesome, could do with my money.

If your payment method has been cancelled Sky will have to manually raise a cheque via a back office team and post it to you so it’ll take even longer.
If the payment method is still active we can try to help get it refunded within 3-5 working days via the Messaging Team on here if you wish.
If the payment method has been cancelled you have two options…
1) you can call Sky to get a cheque raised or
2) we can escalate to the Messaging Team who can re-set your payment method.
Let us know on this thread what you want to do but before we can escalate it to Sky please confirm in your reply it’s STILL showing as a credit on your Sky account and whether the payment method is still active.

I can see my credit on January's bill but nothing after that's.

Find out moreIf it isn't showing on this months bill but was on last months then it might be that it is in the process of being refunded back you so I would give this another week and if you still haven't received it by this time next week post back here for further help.

Hey can anyone escalate this again,
been told ill be getting a check but got told I would get an email confirmation of the check, but not received the email. Been waiting 2/3 weeks for the email.
