On 26 February 2024 I was advised of Sky's proposed increase in broadband and talk charges.
The email also stated that if I cancelled within 30 days I would not incur early termination charges.
After discussions with Sky I decided to cancel both services (Ultrafast 1 and Talk) on March 1st and move to another provider. The transfer took effect on 22nd March 2024, well within the 30 day period.
I later received Sky packaging for return of their equipment which was sent on April 4th and received by NDC (Unipart?) on 8th April.
I have now received an email from Sky dated 11th April advising that if I do not reactivate the Ultrafast service I will be charged £84.75 Early Termination, and I will need to return their equipment?
Perhaps someone can explain this to me

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreAs you informed Sky that you wanted to leave then there should be no early termination charges as you are within you rights to leave due to the price increase so it will be case of speaking to them again to make sure they remove the possible charge.

As a follow-up spoke to Sky who agreed the charge would not be incurred.
Thanks for the advice.
