Incorrect message - Account suspended

Hello,

 

When I log in on the MySky app or log in on a computer I get a message telling me that my account is suspended and that a payment is due.

 

This is incorrect. I pay by DD and everything is up to date. When I call Sky I go in circles and no one can help. I've just called again and the person I spoke to has logged a complaint. Fibre has just become available in my area and I'm keen to get it but I won't be staying with Sky until they can remove this incorrect message.

 

Is there anyone who has had this issue?

To confirm that you are a current Sky TV customer and this is not restricted in any way ?

@frustrated79 Yep, had a message on the My Sky app for months saying they had not received payment for my streaming TV, despite being up to date. It finally vanished this week. Bit annoying but as it didn't lead to services being suspended I just ignored it anyway.

Hi my account says I am suspended and please pay your bill. I checked my account and all payments have been made on time, have been debited from my account and none returned. I phoned up as chat not available,  a recording said the service is down and Sky is working hard to restore services. I wonder if it's been a cyberattack? Anyone had the same issue? Whilst doing this I have just received a message saying service is restored. It's only been out for 30 minutes.

I am having the same trouble phoned and told it will be do within 7 days and its been weeks i even asked could this be effecting my credit score

I Have a message on the sky app saying my account has been suspended but it isn't and I dont owe anything I called sky a couple of weeks ago they said it should be off in about 7 days still waiting for it to go off even after uninstall the app and then reinstall it definitely looks like its a problem with the app

Does it say suspended or restricted and are your Sky services working as normal ?

Yes everything is upto date havent missed any payments still on the app saying suspended when its not seems a few people are having the same problem even when you speak to sky they dont understand what your saying i cant be bothered being on the phone for hour and it not getting sorted I really hope its not effecting my credit score
