If your payment is two or more weeks overdue you will have to pay the next bill as well. Also it’s worth noting that if you’re in arrears for 56+ days Sky can fully terminate your subscription.
On rare occasions they will allow you to carry over up to £25 to the next month but that will be based on your previous payment history. Sky don't allow payment plans on overdue live accounts, nor will they consider promises to pay on or by a certain date.
Once your full payment has cleared and is in Sky’s account your services should be reinstated, but this may not be instant. Any payment you make over a weekend or on a Bank Holiday won’t be processed until the following week.
You should be able to pay the bill and set up your direct debit via the MySky app or online using this link

hi thanks for your response but you're completely incorrect if this if it doesn't work like that then why have you done this in the past?

It's not a problem I will cancel my subscription with you guys. It's no skin off my nose but for you guys to now lie to me saying that this isn't how it works is comical as you guys have done this for me in the past

We are customers here @Perils so you are not talking to Sky but what we can tell you then your services will not be restored until the bill has been paid in full and you reset up your payment method.

If you’re not already aware this is a customer helps customer forum and you aren’t contacting Sky Customer Services. Just telling you Skys restriction process. You need to pay your bill in full. By the sounds of your response you've missed payments before.

You cannot cancel a subscription whilst in arrears and as you mention it's a TV subscription the latest T’s and C’s explicitly state you can’t cancel when still in a minimum term deal unless Sky agree.

@Perils you would have to contact Sky directly to ask them. That might be problematic as you're already in arrears. You could try their social media.
