Ultimate TV includes the Netflix Basic plan (1 screen + SD) as standard
You can upgrade to Netflix Standard (2 screens + HD) by adding the HD pack
You can upgrade to Netflix Premium (4 screens + UHD/HDR) by adding the Ultra HD pack (requires the HD pack first)
So by having both the HD and UHD packs you get access to Netflix Premium of 4 screens and UHD and HDR content.

And the HD pack as explained above (for clarity)...

I think Sky has a cheek asking Customers to pay more money for HD especially when Customers have Netflix and the Netflix package from Sky is £6 per month and then On top of that.. Sky is asking Sky Customers for another £9.00 per month for HD.. plus if you don't have HD package. Customer can't download some programmes..
In my opinion, As usual, Big Companies like Sky are not interested in there Customers,
It's all about Sky Share Price and how much dividends Sky share holders will get at the end of financial Year.

There are no Sky shares (or Sky shareholders) and haven't been since late 2018 when Sky Group became a division of a US cable, movies and theme-park corporation

The extra charge for HD on the satellite platforms has been much discussed over the years: it's interesting that the add-on wasn't structured into Glass/Stream pricing, for example, under Comcast ownership.

Also perhaps worth noting that as of last week Netflix on Sky Q is not linked to the HD or UHD Sky add-ons for new customers or existing subscribers recontracting or otherwise changing their bundle: unfortunately this also means it's more expensive and considerably less good value for Sky subscribers who already had HD/UHD.

NetFlix standard direct from NF is £11pm. It's unreasonable to expect that tier for £6pm from Sky.
Indeed, as long as you have an in-contract discount with Sky then HD is less than £9. Potentially making it cheaper that directly from NF and also enables HD on other channels too.
NF premium is £18pm direct so if you have UHD from Sky (in contract) then it's potentially significantly cheaper and unlocks UHD content too. Not really a cheek is it?

Interesting! Thanks for the info - looks like I will be ditching Sky at my next re-contract 😃
All good things come to an end...

What's effectively a significant price rise, plus the continued absence of the 'Extra Members' feature, really knocks the value of 'Ultimate TV', which is a shame. It does, though, let Netflix report to their investors and advertising sales teams that millions more users will be on the 'Standard with Ads' plan.
