I have received an email £48.80 to come off my broad band for loss of service .not showing my accoun

Had an email to say £48.80  to come off my broadband for loss of service .but not showing on my account

When did you get the email, it may take a couple of days for the credit to show on your account.

Youve already had a response. If this is for automatic compensation it's applied 30 days after the fault has been repaired and will come in the form of a credit appearing on your Sky account (from 01/04/24 the rates are £9.76 per day). There is no equivalent scheme in place for customers in the Republic of Ireland.

Does Sky pay for loss of service over a weekend? My broadband was down from a Wednesday until the following Thursday.

As long as it was reported to them then you should qualify for compensation credit which is added 30 days after the fault was fixed as you can read about here:

Thanks, it was reported on the Wednesday - an engineer visit was booked for the Monday and was a no-show...they compensated me immediately for that so I'm a little surprised that it takes them so long to pay for the loss of service.
