I have overpaid my bill however it's not showing on my account for my next payment, when will it be

I was in arrears so I was cut off albeit I have been a customer for years yet they would not give me grace to pay and I paid the full amount then I paid a further amount as they didn't put a bill on for November but my bill for December was double however they have not reduced what I will be paying in December. When will this be updated

When was your last payment made? It would take a couple of days to clear into Sky's account and then for Sky to process the payment and attribute it to your account. I would expect it to be 3-5 working days before it's credited to your account.

@MarkGoldsmith I paid on the 28th, my account is saying I'm in credit but it's not changed the payment for December so I am confused as to whether they will put the overpayment against the next bill or not

What date is your bill due to be paid in December ?

It is unusual when in arrears to see both your services suspended and that the payment you owe be added to your next bill as usually only one of the other happens here.

 

Does the payment you made appear as a credit by any chance ?
