Hi. I have the same issue. My Sky contract was cancelled in June (internet ended 16th June & Sky TV ended 3rd July) yet I've had a credit sitting on my Sky Account ever since with the note "Credit goes towards paying your next bill(s)" but obviously that won't happen as will no longer get Sky bills as have no further services with them.

 

Frustrating that they're quick to take money but slow when it comes to paying back credit! My payment method is still active so there should be no problem refunding my credit which would help with paying other biils. Therefore, if this could be escalated to Sky please it would be much appreciated.

We would normally escalate this to Sky on here via their Messaging Team, but unfortunately the process is currently switched off and should be available again during this coming week. You can contact Sky by other means; through social media, Sky Assistant or by calling in perhaps.

Alternatively post back on this thread later this week and we may be able to help you further.

Refunds are apparently taking longer than the usual 6 weeks from your last day of connection anyway. By contacting Sky they should be able to refund you within 3-5 working days if your payment method is still live.,

I've waited a couple of weeks now & still no refund from Sky (which is ridiculous considering my contract with them ended 2 months ago). So if the escalation process is now working is it possible for this to be escalated please, so that I can finally get my remaining credit refunded. I've kept my payment method open waiting for this refund, so that shouldn't be an issue.
