How much compensation should I be getting

My telephone line snapped off the pole on the 24th of December. It was fixed on the 2nd of January.

the engineer missed their appointment on the 27th of December

how much compensation for loss of service should I receive? How much for the engineer not attending?

what is the best way of actually getting it? I've chatted to sky chat/agents 5 times and each promised it would be applied. The 5th time they've compensated me £10

As per the link, the engineer not attending makes no specific difference.  (Only the number of days after two working days of you reporting the fault)

Corrected...

Re: How much compensation should I be getting

As per the link this should apply yeah?

Missed appointment

What you’ll get

We’ll pay you £31.19 for your Sky Broadband & Talk engineer visit if:

  • Your engineer doesn’t show up to the visit.

If you're not being properly compensated then raise a formal complaint.  Take it to ombudsman services if they won't credit the full amount...
